In the 1800s, wooden arks and animals were popular toys for boys and girls - and even adults. Collections of animal carvings were mainly produced in the old kingdom of Saxony, and the large menageries included popular domestic mammals as well as wild and exotic creatures.
Parents enjoyed the educational benefits of the collection, as children could learn basic skills such as counting and categorizing. More importantly, it reminded children that all creatures of all sizes are loved members of the world. Noah’s Pals™ builds upon and updates this beautiful collecting tradition. The first series includes forty pairs of Pals from all seven continents. Each is beautifully detailed and lovingly hand painted on soft, safe vinyl.
